Introductory Course in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

Applications for the 2020 Course:

This Course covers essential ideas in psychoanalytic theory and is designed for suitably qualified professionals interested in developing their understanding of psychoanalytic theory and therapeutic practice.

The Course comprises 30 weeks of two-hour seminars, once a week, with readings and case discussions in a small group setting focusing on:

• The Development of the Personality
• The Defences and Common Clinical Presentations
• Psychopathology
• The Practice of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

Times: Wednesday evenings 6.30-8.30pm

Venue: 18 Erin Street Richmond
Commences: March 2020
Cost: Fees $2500 (payable in 3 instalments) or $2250 upfront (10% off).

A deposit of $900 is payable upon acceptance of a place.

Relevant qualifications and access to current clinical work are essential.
